چکیده

Ninhydrin was implemented as the primary police method of developing latent fingermarks on paper, cardboard and some other porous surfaces from late 1960s. Some researchers have used individual amino acids, or mixtures a testing effectiveness reagent formulations. It not however known whether simple acids could effectively emulate in reactions with reagents such ninhydrin. The first part this study compared effects ninhydrin fingermark treatments internationally various laboratories test targets created by inkjet printing graduated concentrations representative mixture series blocks paper. Variations intensity development were observed between which formulations heat humidity post treatment protocols. In further trial 2015 several participants International Fingerprint Research Group (IFRG) meeting processed their own submitted them for measurement. Again, variation developed observed. depletion activity solutions during use also investigated early evaluations targets. An established fingerprint laboratory then number samples batch to examine consistency. This followed designing new target enabled comparisons printed alongside split, natural donor fingermarks. A panel 20 donors provided four protocols used. scanned, measured, results evaluated three assessors using two types scale. Good correlation quality scores protocols, including deliberately downgraded concentrations. type evaluation carried out second time investigate modified routine control process verification would appear be far more accurate reliable than small numbers is clear why different latter work very optimum heating regimes.

An Evaluation of an Adaptive Generalized Likelihood Ratio Charts for Monitoring the Process Mean

When the objective is quick detection both small and large shifts in the process mean with normal distribution, the generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) control charts have better performance as compared to other control charts. Only the fixed parameters are used in Reynolds and Lou’s presented charts. According to the studies, using variable parameters, detect process shifts faster than fixed pa...

Detection of Bacteria Using Inkjet-Printed Enzymatic Test Strips

Low-cost diagnostics for drinking water contamination have the potential to save millions of lives. We report a method that uses inkjet printing to copattern an enzyme-nanoparticle sensor and substrate on a paper-based test strip for rapid detection of bacteria. A colorimetric response is generated on the paper substrate that allows visual detection of contamination without the need for expensi...

Inkjet-printed passive UHF RFID tags: review and performance evaluation

In this paper, the performance and the feasibility of inkjet-printed dipole RFID tag antennas are experimentally studied in the implementation of identifying objects with different electromagnetic properties. To estimate the performance quality, we compare our results to those obtained using traditional etched copper dipole tag antennas. We first examine the performance characteristics, i.e. th...
